Social media when used correctly can create great opportunities in marketing and collaborations. We only collaborate with credible sources, companies and organisations that we believe in. We have had the opportunity to work with Xero for a while and we use their accountancy software for our business and promote them online to our D5 community. As part of our work with Xero we were invited by them to an event that was hosted in the House of Common Terrace Pavilion in March 2024. This event was to celebrate small businesses and the community that supports them.

The UK’s smallest businesses provide a quarter of the country’s job market.
In the current climate, the priorities of small businesses need to be heard now more than ever. This event allowed us the opportunity to network with other entrepreneurs, and exchange ideas about ways forward for the small business economy in 2024 and beyond. Guest speakers included the Small Business Minister, Kevin Hollinrake MP and the Shadow Small Business Minister, Rushanara Ali MP. The day was a great success and we have many more great collaborations planned with Xero, so stay tuned.
